TEMPORARY STRUCTURE DESIGN
The NRC KL hub features an indoor space and a rooftop free running space for the runner to enjoy. The interior featured sleek self-powered treadmills which read live running data. In front of the players, a virtual kinetic-powered avatar was displayed on a gigantic curved LED wall. Their avatar would not only mimic their stride, but filled up with color the harder they worked during the race. After an arduous 30 seconds, runners were rewarded with different sized virtual trophies based on their distance, and a generated graph displayed their progress over time during the race.
At the roof of the hub there will be two platform which function as parkour equipment, which defines running in a more creative way. A QR code will be applied on the platform works as a reward for the runners that reach the top by getting exclusive promo or gifts after scanning it. At the rear of the hub features a leader board which record all the result of the runner from the treadmill game. The leader board will show out the best 20 runner of the particular day which will also be link to their NRC app.
